East London Blues is back at The George Tavern for another night of down and dirty blues to wet your appetite. East London Blues is about bringing exciting new blues acts to the stage to deliver more than just a 1-4-5.

The Robert J Hunter Band

Island born Robert J. Hunter combines his gruff and powerful voice with the wild thud of overdriven blues guitar.
Robert’s new album and fourth studio release, ‘The Robert J Hunter Band’ was released February 2018 and features the iTunes number one singles, ‘Wait Your Turn’ and ‘Suzy’.

Eddy Smith & The 507

The London-based Soul/Blues band, who’s lead vocalist has been compared to the likes of Joe Cocker, Don Henley and Ray Lamontagne, will be releasing their debut album later this year, produced by industry veteran, Stacy Parrish. Stacy has worked with some of the biggest names in music, including Robert Plant, Alison Krauss, Randy Newman, and has a Grammy certificate for his work on the Krauss / Plant Collaboration album, Raising Sand.

Amy & the Calamities

Amy & The Calamities is the creation of solo artist Amy Wawn, a musician and singer-songwriter from Bulawayo, Zimbabwe. Amy’s style ranges from lively foot-stomping folk rhythms to the dirty-delicious sounds of delta blues on the slide guitar.
