Live at The Lounge

The Backroom Shisha Lounge is Bulawayo’s own bohemian hang out and an absolute gem of a spot. From the minute you walk in the door you feel something different in the air. From the far out murals above comfy sofas in lounge booths, a wide variety of shisha flavours and a host whose name really speaks volumes about the establishment she has created. You’ll find Rejoice chatting amongst the crowd, always a smile and a joke ready for deployment. It is also a great platform for artists, both local and from afar, from Deep Tribal House DJs,  Afro Jazz and Blues musicians.

Come join us on Thursday 7 December, I’ll be bringing you some blues, some folk and some sweet foot stomping rhythms I hope you’ll all enjoy. I’ll be performing some tracks off my first EP ‘The Suspects‘ which was recorded and produced with some great people that I’ve met here in London over the last few months. I got some new ones in the works as well!
